JinkoSolar’s Tiger Neo III Enters Mass Production with 15GW in Global Pre-orders

28 November, 2025

【SHANGHAI, Nov. 20】 – JinkoSolar today celebrated the official start of mass production for its next-generation Tiger Neo III module, marking a significant step in the large-scale adoption of N-type TOPCon technology. The launch event, which gathered industry leaders and global clients, was underscored by the signing of 15GW in global orders, signaling robust market confidence.

In his opening address, JinkoSolar CEO Chen Kangping positioned the launch as a strategic move beyond homogenized competition. "At JinkoSolar, we believe true competitiveness stems from relentless innovation, not a race to the bottom," Chen stated. The Tiger Neo III, with mass production efficiency exceeding 24.8% and power output up to 670W, embodies this commitment to delivering high-value, reliable products for the global clean energy transition.

Redefining the Benchmark: Four Breakthroughs, Six Advantages

Vice President Qian Jing highlighted that the Tiger Neo III has proven its mettle through nearly a year of rigorous outdoor testing since its debut. She identified its high power, superior bifaciality (85±5%), and exceptional low-light performance as its three defining strengths within the competitive 2382mm module format.

JinkoSolar's R&D team detailed the core innovations behind the module's performance, achieved through four key technological breakthroughs:

  • Advanced multi-busbar technology to minimize resistive losses.
  • Enhanced cell edge passivation and metallization, boosting efficiency by 0.5%.
  • A proprietary pattern-enhancement design that reduces contact resistance and parasitic absorption.

These innovations underpin the Tiger Neo III's six key advantages:

  1. High Power: Front-side power output of 650-670W.
  2. High Bifaciality: Up to 85±5% for greater energy yield.
  3. Low Degradation: An ultra-low annual degradation rate of only -0.35%.
  4. Superior Temperature Coefficient: As low as -0.26%/°C, performing better in heat.
  5. Enhanced Durability: Improved resistance to shading and hot-spot formation.
  6. Outstanding Low-Light Performance: Maintains 95-98% relative power output even under 200W/m2 irradiance.

A Legacy of Innovation

JinkoSolar's technological leadership is backed by a formidable IP portfolio of over 5,500 filed patents and 31 world records in cell and module performance. The company recently achieved a record 34.22% efficiency with its N-type TOPCon-based tandem cell, laying a solid foundation for the high performance of the Tiger Neo III and future generations.
